Starlooks Box April 2013

I love the Starlooks box because it is all makeup, all full size, and all their own product line. It doesn't get any better than that!

This month's theme is "neutral". They are everyday neutral colors and products that make a great base to my makeup bag. I love the way that Starlooks will make the products make sense from month to month. They build on each other and I love that. Check it out...

Sensation Mascara Primer- This item is perfect because we just got mascara last month. This primer can be used on its own before bed or layered underneath mascara. It helps to hydrate and smooth lashes while thickening up to 50%. Retail Value- $15

SPF Lip Balm- Right now this product is only available through the monthly box so I am super excited to try it. It is perfect for spring and a great items since we got the bonus lip scrub last month. Retail Value- $5.

Mineralized Powder- I think this is the item I am most excited about this month. This is a mineralized powder in translucent color that will go with every skin color and type. Now that is a big order to fill so I am very excited to try it. It says it will make oil and sweat not be a problem and I have oily skin so I hope it works! Retail Value- $19

Tendergloss Lipstick- This is such a me color for spring! Retail Value- $11

This months box was worth $50! What a great value for just under $18.

Birchbox- April 2013

I feel the need to say thank you to Birchbox for starting the monthly subscription craze! It is an addiction of mine and I continue to love Birchbox...

Malin + Goetz- This cilantro hair conditioner is helpful for people with normal to dry hair because it helps to hydrate and balance pH levels. Retail Value- $2.75

Caudalie- This little tube is going to be awesome because it replenishes under the eye and deflects UV rays! Retail Value- $3.39

Herban Essentials- I am excited to use these detoxing, germ-killing towelettes when I travel. Retail Value- $1.60

Mirenese- I am a huge fan of Mirenese products so I can't wait to try this lipstick pencil. Retail  Value- $26.55

Ipsy's My Glam Bag- April 2013

I have to say that Ipsy's My Glam Bag is one of my favorite things to come in the mail each month. Not only because the products are awesome but also the customer service is top notch and the value is incredible! Check it out...

Sexy Hair- I am excited about this because it is not another conditioner. This is used on damp hair to help speed up drying time and to help control frizz! Plus there is a coupon to save $5. Retail Value- $4.40

Sation- This is such a pretty color of nail lacquer for spring. Plus a coupon for 20% off. Retail Value- $5

Mica Beauty Cosmetics- Shimmer powder eye shadow!!! I love to shimmer. Plus a coupon for 30% off. Retail value- $14.95!

Bombshell Cosmetics- So I have to say that I was disappointed when this full size blush arrived because it was crushed and broken. But I contacted Ipsy and they are sending a replacement. Good thing I emailed right away cause they only had 2 replacements left! I love that kind of customer service! Retail Value- $16!

So this box costs $10 and the value is over $40! You just can't get that kind of value any where else!

Starlooks March 2013

I tried to do without the Starlooks box for a couple of months but I just couldn't! I love that it is all cosmetics, all full size and that it is all their brand. So what came in this months box?

What is great is that there are 2 neutral products and 1 bold item. And there is a still extra goody in this box.

Eyeshadow (neutral item)- This is a great purple color called "disarray". I love trying new colors of eyeshadows so this is perfect to try for a non-black smokey eye! Retail Value- $12

Mascara (neutral item)- I was hoping to get mascara in a different color other than black but i still have many other months of boxes yet to come. This is a black lengthening mascara. Retail Value- $15

Lipstick (bold item)- I have to say that this is not my color at all. I am not one for orangeish colors like this but I have a friend that loves it so I might save it for her. Retail Value- $11

The bonus item is a sugar scrub. This is designed to help exfoliate your lips which is key. Perfect little bonus for the spring. Retail Value- $2

This box was worth $40 and cost just under $18. So worth it!
