Conscious Box- July 2013

I bought a Groupon for 3 months of Conscious Box and I am sorry that I did not post the first box. But I am posting the second!

Look at all this great stuff! Conscious Box is $19.95 a month and you have diet option such as vegan and gluten free so you can customize the box a little more for your needs. So here is what came in my box for July!

Orgain- This is a healthy kids organic nutritional shake. It contains 8 grams of organic protein, 10 different fruits and vegetables, 23 essential vitamins and minerals and is gluten free. Retail Value- $2

Stash Tea- Two sample tea bags of Chocolate Orange caffeine free herbal tea. Retail Value- $0.50

Hydration Factor- Mix this packet with water for optimal cellular hydration. Retail Value- $1.33

Epic Dental- These mints are sweetened with Xylitol. Xylitol is said to naturally help stop with tooth decay. Retail Value- a few pennies

Ecover- These are automatic dishwasher tablets. Retail Value- $0.50

Nordic Naturals- These soft gels help support brain function, memory and mood. Retail Value- $1

Similasan- This package contains 2 single use eye droppers filled with eye drops that help eye feel relieved from too much computer use. Retail Value- $0.50

Bambooee- I am very excited about this product. It is a reusable bamboo towel. It is machine washable!! Retail Value- $0.60

Last Round- This is a hangover support drink. It is designed to remove alcohol and detoxify the body. Retail Value- $1.65

Organic Flavorz- These are all natural liquid drink mix. There is one for immunity boost, organic energy, and organic rehydration. Just add to water. Retail Value- $3.50

 Skout- Apple and Cinnamon organic trailbar. It is also gluten free. Retail Value- $2.25

Equal Trade- Cute little chocolate minis that are only from fair trade, small farm co-ops. Retail Value- $0.50

Ultima Replenisher- This is a naturally sweet (from plant extract) dietary supplement. Mix with water. Retail Value- $0.50

Bottle Bright- This tablet cleans water bottles, travel mugs and other hard-to-clean drinking vessels. Retail Value- $1

Episencial- This is a sample of their soothing cream that is ideal for people with eczema, itches and bothered skin. Retail Value- $0.25

So the total value of this box is just under $17. Not the greatest value if you ordered it from the website but I got each month for $10 with my Groupon. So it was a win-win for me.

Birchbox- July 2013

The theme for this month's Birchbox is "Power Play". It is designed to help you out in any situation on the clock or off. The items were picked with 2 of the main characters in "Suits". For those of you who don't know Suits is an USA hit series about lawyers.

Lots of great items in this month's box. And in case you don't know you can write reviews of all the items in your box on the Birchbox website and they will give you points. Points can be used to buy full size products on their website.

The Balm- Instain long wear staining powder blush in Swiss Dot color. This is going to be perfect for travel cause when it is all done you can throw away! Retail Value- $3

Tan Towel- This is going to be perfect for my wedding since it covers the face and half the body. Just enough to cover the areas I need to look a little more tan. Retail Value- $2.40

Caldrea- These are two samples of the Caldrea body lotion. They sent coconut fig leaf and tea olive lime scents. Retail Value- $1.25

Beauty Protector- This is a shampoo that is sulfate free, parabean free, vegan, moisture reviving, enhances volume, adds shine, seals cuticle, smoothes hair, color safe and has a UV protection. Retail Value- $5.50

The value of this box is $17.65. This is a great deal for the $10 monthly fee.

The theme of this months box is "Beach Beauty". That is perfect since I live 20 minutes from the beach and never go. I feel inspired and will be heading off for a day of fun and sun soon!

I love that the bag is perfect for getting sand out of. It reminds me of a pencil case I had in grade school so I love that it is retro!

Demeter- This is a roll on fragrance oil. The scent is "salt air". It smells like you just came off the beach with the hint of salt smell. Bonus offer- 20% off any purchase. Retail Value- $10

The value of the box for this month is $28.25! What a great deal since it only costs $10.

Our Local Box- July 2013

The UPS man knocked on my door the other day and since I am getting married in a few months I have been getting quite a few packages lately. But I was extremely excited when I saw it was My Local Box. Goodies from Kentucky!

Normally you get 4 items straight from Kentucky's finest but this month there was a bonus item! I love it when there is a bonus in my box. But especially when it is from My Local Box. If you still have not checked it then you are crazy! Go to their website and learn all about them...

Bourbonq (Louisville, KY)- Dry Spice Rub! This is bear claw honey BUTT spice rub. "You put it on everything BUTT your honey...well maybe..." I love that this what they put on their label. Sounds like my kind of people. Retail Value- $4

Earth Goddess Candles (Crestwood, KY)- This candle smells amazing. It is a pear and white tea scent and it is going right beside my bathtub for optimal relaxation. Retail Value- $5.50

Bourbonq (Louisville, KY)- Pappy's XXX White Lightening BBQ sauce. Of course they have an awesome label..."Ingredients: If We're Not Tellin The Revenue Boyz- We're Not Tellin You. Spices and Bourbon Alcohol (The most the feds will allow!) Enjoy "A Nip of Goodness From the Hills" That Starts- Oh So Smooth- and Finishes with Just a Kiss of Southern Love" It goes on to say under the nutritional info that if you are that concerned about it then you should probably be eating tofu. Sassa Bella Body Care (Harrodsburg, KY)- All natural lemongrass spearmint energizing bar soap. I love the scent but it smells like a boy scent so I am going to be passing this one on to my dad. Retail Value- 6

Departure Records (Louisville, KY)- Bonus Item! This group is The Ladybirds and the album is Shimmy Shimmy Dang! I love that name and can't wait to add this on my playlist. Retail Value- $10


The value of this months box is $32.50 so you are definitely getting your money back for the $30 price tag.
