Let me introduce you to a new subscription box...Watanut! This great box from Augusta, GA (my close neighbor) is full of nuts and nut mixes. Thank you to Kam and Brian for sending me this box to review.
This great subscription was debuted at the Cooper River Bridge Run Expo in Charleston, SC in April 2013. The sticker above is placed on the bottom of the box and I thought it was very cute.
These are the 4 mixes that came in my August box. Check out their website here. Here is a closer look at the box.
Honey Badger BBQ- This one was super yummy. It is Bbq Peanuts, honey sesame sticks and roasted sunflower seeds. 6 oz
A Walk in the Woods- I have not tried this one yet but it is rolled oats, honey, brazil nuts, cashews, coconut, cinnamon. 6 oz
A Happy Nut- I love pistachios! It is roasted salted pistachios. 6 oz
Thru-Hike- This one is perfect for a hike. It is cranberries, roasted almonds, roasted & salted cashews. 6 oz
I thought the mix of items was a nice balance and very tasty!
I highly recommend this subscription box to everyone! Just $25 a month!
I have a love of monthly subscription boxes. It is like someone thinks of you each month and sends you some goodies to brighten your day. I welcome your comments, thoughts, and ideas.

Stunner of the Month- August 2013
In the quest for new subscription boxes to review for you I found a new concept that I had not seen before. Stunner of the Month is a sunglasses subscription Box. Visit their website here.
Stunner of the Month delivers 1 pair of fun sunglasses to your door each month for $9 (free shipping)! They are always different and unique. What a great way to expand your accessories and for a great price!
The nice people over at Stunner of the Month sent me this box to review for free. I have to say that I would never have picked out sunglasses like these in the store but I think they are fun! Also in the box was a button and a sticker. They come in this nice cloth bag and I think I will wear the new glasses to the Grape Stompin' Festival at the Firefly Vodka Distillery this weekend. They will definitely add some color to my wardrobe.
Stunner of the Month also sells these fun packages called "Stun Packs". It will include 12 glasses, 12 koozies, 12 stunner cords (to hold your glasses on), 12 bottle openers and 12 slap bracelets. What a fun addition to any party since it comes in different themes (valentines day, bar crawls and wedding parties are a few examples). What a fun package for $140.
Thanks Stunner of the Month!

Birchbox- August 2013
As you can guess I love my monthly subscription boxes. But a special thank you is owed to Birchbox for being the first and starting the trend! I love getting that box with Birchbox on top each month.
So what were the goodies that came in August?
The theme is "Finishing School" and I was very excited about the items this month. The variety was one of the best I have seen in months.
Whish- This is a deodorant wipe that will eliminate odor and slow hair growth. Slow hair growth? Genius! This is a bonus item in your box. Retail Value- $0.75
Whish- Travel size of exfoliating body wash which makes you smell like you just came off the beach. Retail Value- $2.75
Number 4- It is very hard to find a good leave-in conditioner and I hope this is not going to be a disappointment. I feel that most of them leave your hair rough and full of product. This is a detangler and conditioner that will give your color protection and UV protection. Retail Value- $3
ModelCo- Long-lasting lipstick? I hope this lives up to the reviews I have read because I love this color. Retail Value- $8
Becca- I have to say that I am a little nervous about trying this foundation because I have very oily skin and usually foundation not made for oily skin just falls off my face but I am going to give it a try! Retail Value- The full size is $42
I have to say to Birchbox...Great job this month! I loved the products and the variety was awesome.
The value of this box is about $15 and the cost is $10. I definitely got my moneys worth!
Do you get Birchbox? If so, what do you love/not love about it?

Half-Peach Vegan Bakery (Louisville, KY)- This is an energy bar made from fruits, seeds and oats. Retail Value- $4
Louisville Vegan Jerky Co (Louisville, KY)- I am a big fan of jerky so this one will be yummy! It is sriracha maple flavor and made from soy. Retail Value- $6.50
