Birchbox- March 2013

So I am excited to be getting Birchbox again. Honestly, I took a little break because I felt the items were not diverse enough but I missed it! So what was in my March box?

Juicy Couture- This is a small sample of Couture La La perfume. It smells smazing!

Marcelle- BB Cream Golden Glow is rich in aloe juice and works for all skin types. Retail Value- $10

Nick Chavez Beverly Hills- This color-saver sulfate-free shampoo is going to be awesome because it is volumizing! Retail Value- $5.50

Madwell for Birchbox- This nail file is going to be great for my travel bag. Retail Value- $5

Now I have to say that there is an item missing from my box this month. There was supposed to be a sample of a face rejuventaor from Vasanti. I wrote Birchbox and let them know that the item was missing and asked for a replacement. This is why I love this company. They said they did not have any additional samples and appologized for the missing item. Instead, they gave me 100 Birchbox points! For those of you that are new to Birchbox, each 100 points is worth $10 in the Birchbox store. So basically they gave the amount that is worth the WHOLE BOX!

Thanks Birchbox!! Your customer service continues to rock!

Ipsy's My Glam Bag- March 2013

It's Ipsy Time!!

 

 

 

 

 Yaby- The two eyeshadow samples are too cute! And if I put a tiny magnet on the back then I can out it in the Glam RX case. Retail Value- $6.78

 

GlamRX- Ok I wasn't sure about this when it arrived and I had to go do some research on it. This is meant to hold loose eye shadows and other items with a magnetic backing. The inside of the case is hallow and magnetic. This is going to be great for the Yaby eyeshadow. Retail Value- Unknown

 

La Fresh- These are travel make-up remover towels. I love these for travel! It is so much better than taking liquid make up remover. Retail Value- $1.49

 

Juice Beauty- This hydrating mist is going to be great for my plane trip this April! Retail Value- $4

 

I have to say even though I like the products in this months bag I am not too thrilled with the value. But on a side note I have received so many amazing products that are worth so much more than my box cost that I feel like it balances out every once in a while.

Bulu Box March 2013

I never thought I would want a box of vitamins and supplements but I have to say that I love getting this box in the mail each month. There is always something that I fall in love with. So what was it this month?

It is the $50 gift card to iTrain! That is right...$50! That is so worth the $10 price tag of this box and then some! This website is so cool. You can purchase workouts with cool music and celebrity voice-overs. Since I am getting married this year I am going to get the iDo wedding workout!

Redd Remedies atEase PM- This is a sleep aid that also helps you relax. Retail Value- $.52

Prolab Quick Fire- This is a workout additive that helps supply nutrients to the body. Retail Value- $1.10

QSpeed CoQ10- CoQ10 provides heart health support, improves exercise performance and increases cellular energy. Retail Value- $1.24

The value of this months Bulu Box is $59.60!!

The Little Black Boxes

Let me introduce you to a box I like called The Little Black Boxes "Out of the Box Samples". What is so neat about this box is that it is full of Etsy items and small individual businesses. Look at the neat items that came in my box.

This box contains lip balms, soaps, jewelry and so much more. Each box contains 17-20 items that comes all wrapped up in a black box. Here is a couple of close up pictures...

Stop by The Little Black Boxes website here and see what is coming for next month. There is only a limited number of boxes each month and they go on sale the 1st Tuesday of each month. The theme for March is Jelly Beans Easter Box! Each box is $25 and they do have some mini sampler boxes.
