Boxy Charm- November 2013

I was given the opportunity to review Boxycharm and I jumped at the opportunity. One because I love make up and two because I love the opportunity to bring you a new box to check out. Boxycharm brings you 5-7 items each month from well known brands.

I liked the mix of items that came in the box. There are brands I know and love and then some that were new to me. But that is the fun of a subscription service...

Be A Bombshell- This is a brand that I already love so I was excited to see this blush (color: Blind Date) in the box. Retail Value- $16

Sparitual- This nail polish is vegan and DBP-Free. It is a little dark for me but I have a friend that is going to love it. Retail Value- $12

Organix- This nourishing body butter smells so amazing. And I love body butters more than body lotion so this is perfect! Retail Value- $7.99

Be A Bombshell- This is without a doubt my favorite eyeliner ever! It is like a marker and goes on just as easy. They could not have given me a better product in my box! Retail Value- $14

Material Girl- I have heard of this brand but never owned any of their products but I am very excited to try this lip gloss. It is glossy with a hint of color. Retail Value- $6

Yu-Be- I have a smaller sample of this lotion but I am glad to get this bigger size. This lotion is great and a small amount goes a long way. Perfect lotion for winter! Retail Value- $ 4

I was very pleased with the items that came in this Boxycharm box. I liked the mix of make up and lotion and the brands are all top notch. Great job Boxycharm!

Ipsy's My Glam Bag- November 2013

Each month I look forward to that bright pink bubble mailer to arrive so I can rip it open and see all the goodies I received from Ipsy. This month was no different.

The bag (yes, you get a cosmetic bag each month) is bright gold. Not exactly my color but I have a friend that will love it! So what exactly came in this months box?

 The value of this bag is $82!!! It only costs $10 so this is a no brainer. The best value I have seen in a long time and I love the products so it is a win-win situation!

Birchbox- November 2013

For those of you who don't know about the Birchbox shop (I am not sure how you don't know because it is awesome) it is the place on the Birchbox website where you can purchase full size items from your Birchbox. All those points that you earn from shopping in the shop, writing reviews and buying gift subscriptions can be redeemed in the Birchbox shop. For every dollar you spend you get 1 point and 10 points for each review of items in your box, then you get $10 for each 100 points to spend in the Birchbox shop.

 If there is anything you ever wanted to buy from the Birchbox shop this is the month to do it. A portion of the Birchbox shop proceeds will go to No Kid Hungry. It is a nation wide organization that works to end childhood hunger. What a great cause!

The theme of this months box is "More Good". I was a little confused about what that meant until I read the rest of the card that tells you about the theme. The holiday season is all about abundance and this box is no different. So what exactly came in this months box?

 

Ahmad Tea- Three yummy tea bags in Raspberry Indulgence, English Tea No. 1, and Jasmine Romance. Retail Value- $0.50

Bare Love Body-  This is a skin firmer and hydrator that is perfect for the Winter season. Retail Value- $9

Eyeko- I love mascara and this one is no different! Retail Value- $12

Juicy Couture- This fragrance sample is "Viva La Juicy Noir". It has a berry scent with a touch of honeysuckle and sandalwood. Retail Value- $1

Sampar- This hydrating cream helps leave your skin with a youthful glow. Retail Value- $3

The value of this box is $25.50. This is a great value for $10. I highly recommend this box not only for the value but for the great mix of products.

 



Tackle Grab- October 2013

So sorry the review of this box is later than I would have liked but I have been out of town getting married!

Tackle Grab is a great way to experience new fishing lures. They send a box each month of new lures based on the type of fishing you do (you complete a profile). The lures are valued at a total of $16 or more.

This month I got 4 new lures based on a profile that probably made no sense. I based put in a variety of fishing options so you could see the different types of lures available to come each month.

I honestly have no idea what these lures are used for cause I do not fish. I give them to my uncle who runs a fishing charter business. The box is guaranteed to contain lures valuing at least $16 and that is the cost of the box with a month to month subscription. So you get a variety and get your money back!
